I've found very interesting interview in the net. And I still remember what i said and can't get rid of the red colour on my cheeks (oooh so embarassed).
Tell us a little bit about yourself and where you live.
Hi guys, my name is m and i'm sixteen years old. I'm a very blonde teenage gypsy with a camera in my hands and the entrie world at my feet. I'm an up-coming fashion photographer. It's a tough job to choose which moments keep alive forever but i live for it. I can't imagine my live without it and i try to show my artwork to the whole world. Currently, i live in Poland, poz and study in high school, mathematic and physic class.
What are your greatest passions?
I'd say photography, travelling, fashion, music and art in general.
How did you first get interested in photography and why is it important?
Photography has been always prevalent in my live. My grandfather took pictures, my dad does and that's why did i start. In my house, there were always big cameras, long lenses and the smell of photographical chemistry. I can't remind when my my fascination of it began, i think i was born to be a phototaker. When i was ten maybe, i loved taking pics of nature, macro ones but while i was growing old, it became boring to me and i started to photograph people. I wanted to become a documentary master and i still want to but it's a very hard job. While fashion was taking more and more place in my life, i realised i want to be a fashion photographer. I followed my dreams blindly and i do not regret it.
What do you love about living in Poland?
Honestly, nothing typical to Poland. I love my family and friends and i'm too young to start living on my own. I wish i could travel more.
Top 3 places to visit in Poland:
Poznan, the top one city; Cracow to see the old beauty and the Tatras.
Describe your personal style of photographing and its influences / inspiration.
I love playing with light and colours and that's why i'm not technical genius ;). I try to break the schemes. I want to show real portraiure of my models, what they have in their hearts. People think photographing young faces is very dummy thing to show but i don't. My inspirations are mostly music, fashion shows, fashion magazines, books and their own stories and everything what happens all around me.
Favorite photographers?
Tim Walker and Federico Erra, these are those worldwide ones. My personal is my father, who tought me everything.
The first thing you look at in another person is:
His smile, eyes and clothes (some kind of my fashion deflexion ;).
Tell us someting about your own fashion style. What do you skimp on?
T-shirts, i always buy them low cost because i love having lots of them ;). I also don't buy a lot of accessories.
What do you splurge on?
Designer shoes and blazers!
A fashion rule you never break:
I usually don't wear too much bright and conflicting colours together.
What do you think is the most recent notable trend to appear/reappear, and what are your thoughts on it?
I don't like the trend of wearing bronzes and beiges, my complexion is to fair to look good in them. And i would rather choose well-fitting blouse than a loose one. But i love flower patterns and i'm so happy they came back.
What is the most underrated item in menswear and womenswear?
Skirts, i think girls should wear them more. Especially those mini ones, globed and colourful.
What is your next "must have" purchase?
I'm looking for raspberry or coral blazer! I saw one in Bershka once but i couldn't find my size (i'm petite ;).
Are there any fashion icons or famous people whose style you admire?
Catwalk models.
What's on your iPod / bookshelf / DVD player at the moment?
My iPod is full of trip-hop music, Massive Attack, they're geniuses, i love them. EspeciallyLive with me, my favourite song ever. Tricky is my second music hero. There are also some classical tracks, when i hear Chopin, my heart stops. My bookshelf is full of history books (oh school) and my DVD player? Horrors, which i watch with my friends, rather to have fun, not to get scared ;).
What can't you live without?
My camera, my old lenses (russian helioses), my iPod, my Adidas adi hoop mid and people i love ;).
